Wrong 'un

What is the remainder when 9^1 + 9^2 + 9^3 + .... + 9^8 is divided by 6?

The remainder is 0.
each term has 3 as a factor and none have 2 as a factor.therefore when even no of terms are present their sum will be a multiple of 6.

The Remainder is 0;
Each term when divided by 6 leaves remiinder of 3.For 8 terms it ll be 24 which is divided by 6.
